THINGS TO BRING WITH YOU WHEN SELLING OR TRADING YOUR VEHICLE
- Title
- Proof of Valid Identification for all Parties Listed on the Title
- Valid Registration
- Items and Accessories related to the vehicle
1. Title
Please bring your title with you when you sell your car to Ed Bozarth.
If your vehicle is titled in a state such as Colorado where the lien holder holds the title until your vehicle has been paid off and you still have an outstanding loan balance:
We will need to contact your lien holder on your behalf to receive a fifteen-day payoff. We can do this during normal business hours and in many cases even after hours.
After hours payoff can be obtained through various automated solutions.
To contact the lien holder on your behalf to request a fifteen-day payoff we will need:
- The name of your lien holder and telephone number
- The name on the account record
- The social security number of the account holder.
If your vehicle is titled in a title holding state where owner holds title but has a lien still outstanding against the vehicle:
You will need to provide the title. Ed Bozarth. will also need to contact the lien holder for a fifteen-day payoff if you are not able to provide a valid lien release.
To contact the lien holder on your behalf to request a fifteen-day payoff we will need:
- The name of your lien holder and telephone number
- The name on the account record
- The social security number of the account holder.
2. Proof of Valid Identification for all Parties Listed on the Title
Please be prepared to provide a copy of secure and verifiable identification for all parties listed on the title. The most frequently provided form of identification is a
current and valid driver’s license. If you are not able to provide a valid driver’s license, then click here for a full list of acceptable methods of identification.
If all titleholders are not present then Ed Bozarth may be able to accept a valid Power of Attorney allowing someone other than the person not present to
execute the title in an absent titleholder’s behalf.
3. Valid Registration
You will need to provide proof of valid and current car registration. Ed Bozarth. will take a copy of the supporting documentation.
4. Items and Accessories related to the Vehicle being sold/traded
Please remember to provide Ed Bozarth. with two sets of keys, the owner’s manual, items such as the dvd for a dvd based navigation system if applicable.
